Kristin Fisher has joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. As a correspondent, she is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News, covering Biden and Trump Administrations' positions regarding space-related issues. The reporter also reported on the presidential election in 2020 and efforts by two administrations in fighting the coronavirus. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as the Vice President often. This included a secret visit to Afghanistan. Before becoming a part of the company in, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up in local TV news stations which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin, who is a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a firm that is specialized in documentaries, for clients such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism at Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
